In this quarter’s Ask The Doctor, Dr. M. E. Tabyánan answers your questions about psychic energy, entropic resonances and what they mean to you.

Question: Can entropic resonances be used as a weapon? Jessica Albourne, Arkham MA, USA
The Doctor: The simple answer is possibly. The more complex answer, Jessica, is that while entropic resonances have a deep and profound effect on the human mind, we are not able to control them in a way that can be seriously harmful to the human body.

A much deeper issue is whether we should. Much like other weapons of mass destruction, using entropic resonances as a weapon can have a devastating effect on individuals and even entire populations. It is my position that governments should actively ban the research and development of entropic resonances as a weapon immediately. This technology is for our benefit, not harm.

Question: Has the US government ever contacted you for work in the DOD? Fareed Sims, Washington DC, USA
The Doctor: Actually, I was employed by the US government in 1980s. While I cannot comment on the work that I performed, I can say that the DOD has not contacted me recently and we are not actively working together.

Question: Can you drain psychic energy from another person? Robert Newton, Dallas TX, USA
The Doctor: Robert, there is no solid evidence of this at this time. I do know that to drain an individual of psychic energy would require greater technology than we currently possess. Various techniques do exist, however, to establish entropic resonances between individuals and trade energy from quantum levels. The energy ‘loss’ in this case is small, and entirely biologically-based, not technologically. A common example of this is the draining feeling when you attend too many business meetings.

Question: Sometimes I feel like my head is splitting. Is that from too much psychic energy? Susan Blanchard, Tulsa OK, USA
The Doctor: I doubt it.

Question: What happens if a person is cut off from the entropic energy collective? Tad Zimmerman, Seattle WA, USA
The Doctor: Great question, Tad. It is not truly known what would happen if a sentient mind is completely cut off from the EEC. Much like an atom that is cooled to absolute zero loses all energy, I imagine that the individual in question would lose all thought processes and suffer extremely grave consequences. Just a thought.
